Day 4 - Wednesday 22nd August 2012

Tobermory to Huntsville

Our last morning at the cottage, last night's fire is burnt out.

One of James and Teresa's lovely hydrangeas.

A beautiful piece of stained glass, a gift from Teresa to James.

After a leisurely breakfast, a last look out of the sitting room window.

The girlds tried the bike again.

Sadly we said farewell to James and headed south. At Wiarton we stopped to shop, and to view Georgian Bay.

We took the scenic route around the lake shore, stopping at Skinner Bluff where there is a good view across the bay to the cliffs opposite.

Wildlife!

Look at us!

Further round the coast, we stopped at Kemble where there is a memorial to their Women's Institute, the 3rd one formed and the oldest still operating.

Almost to the town of Owen Sound, we stopped to eat lunch at Balmy Bay, on the side of Owen Sound.

From here we drove east through Collingwood, then north on the motorway almost to Parry Sound, then east through Muskoka County to Huntsville. There were some good views, some lovely country, but we didn't get pictures as there was rarely anywhere to stop where there was a view! Now in Huntsville, heading to bed after supper opposite our hotel.
